Sponsor the Show!

If you would like to be a sponsor for our show, please contact John Warren via e-mail or by phone at 785-250-8665.

Base sponsorship starts at $40 and will be rewarded with a swap space (covered if desired and available), credit on our web site, show flyers, and announcements during the show. Sponsorship amounts above $150 provide the same mentions plus your business logo on our t-shirts.  To ensure we have your information in time to order t-shirts, please contact us no later than March 25, 2012.

In addition to monetary donations for sponsorship, we would be happy to accept prize donations for our charity raffle. We haven't yet identified our charities for this year yet...

Once again, this year, a complete, rebuilt turn-key VW aircooled engine will be awarded in the raffle!
Take a look at the engine awarded at our 2011 show here!
A limited number of tickets will be sold for only $10 each.  Proceeds will be given to charity.

Judging Criteria:

All vehicles will be judged by the following criteria:

Each item listed above will be scored on a scale of 1 - 5.  Any area that cannot be seen or is not accessible (i.e. trunk or hood closed or windows rolled up) will receive a score of 0.

In addition to the mandatory 1 - 5 scoring, the judges may award up to 3 optional points for each criteria. This was devised specifically for the H2O classes to level the playing field between "garage queen show-only" or "fresh off the showroom floor stock" vehicles and daily-driven modified vehicles.  The air-cooled classes will also adopted this same scoring method for their cars this year to help simplify the organization of the judging.

Judges:

All judging is done on a volunteer basis, and someone will announce over the PA system when they're ready for judges to congregate at the main building to pick up scoring sheets.  We encourage all show entrants and spectators to participate in the judging.  Judging for each class is done with two people, and those two judges will confer with each other and agree upon the point value to award each car for each criteria.  Those who have never judged before are paired up with someone who has experience.  You can judge any class your car is not entered in.   These guidelines were devised for the highest level of fairness.
